Job Description
IT industry is actively seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as an IT Support Specialist and contribute to seamless operation of their technology infrastructure. The role holder will be responsible to provide technical support to the industry employees. Responsibilities of IT Support Specialist
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
- Respond to IT support tickets and service requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
- Conduct regular system updates and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Educate end-users on IT policies and best practices.
Requirements of IT Support specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+ , Microsoft Certified, Windows 10) are a plus.
- 1-2 years Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem solving & communication skills.
- Customer focused with a service-oriented mindset.
