Job Description

Sheikh Khalifa Speciality Hospital is seeking a skilled IT Applications Officer to join their dedicated team in Ras Al Khaimah. Duties of IT Applications Officer

  • Provide support for ERP-related issues and ensure that all tickets are properly triaged, documented, and prioritized in a ticketing system.
  • Provide ongoing training to internal users for the ERP system.
  • Execute testing of software updates/patches in the ERP system.
  • Assist in the analysis of existing business practices and mapping those practices and procedures to the existing functionality within the ERP.
  • Assist in the ERP system upgrades.
  • Manage, track, and provide solutions to reported issues.
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and providing technical system support.

Qualification & Experience

Following are the requirements for the role of IT Applications Officer (ERP Oracle Engineer) at SKSH:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 Experience with an ERP in a hospital environment.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Familiarity with HR payroll, finance, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Team player who is also able to work independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards.
  • Fluency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
  • Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint Portal.
