Role of Islamic Teacher

An Islamic Teacher will deliver lessons to students according to the lesson plan, pacing chart of the school and meet curricular expectations whilst reflecting the Islamic values.

Responsibilities of Islamic Teacher

• Develop a positive relationship with the students within the Islamic guidelines.
• Maintain a fun and caring environment that nurtures children and reflects Islamic values.
• Responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students at all levels.
• Prepare lessons, mark tests.
• Model honesty, fairness and ethical conduct.

Qualification

• Bachelors of Arts (Islamic) +  Bachelor of Education.
• Distance or open university degrees are not accepted.

Experience

• Experience of the IGCSE curriculum is preferred but not essential.

Skills

• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• An excellent team player both within the department and across phases.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
• Good command of English.
