Majid Al Futtaim presently has a job opening for desirous and experienced candidate for position of an International Negotiator. The successful candidate will be responsible for standardising the sourcing strategy within respective country and implementing the best practices and is also responsible for negotiating trading terms with the dfifferent Vendors.

Duties of An International Negotiator

• Responsible for developing regional and international business relationships with brands and implementing international sourcing standards within respective country.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of effective strategies for merchandising and sourcing goods.
• Support the standardisation of the sourcing strategy across respective country by implementing best practices.
• Liaise with international merchandise team on daily matters.
• Apply the negotiation and tender development ensuring alignment with the organisation’s objectives.
• Review the cost scenario analysis and benchmarking reports to develop negotiation strategies when required.
• Review identified suppliers and support the development of partnerships, when applicable.
• Build sustainable relationship with suppliers and vendors in order to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Develop a country plan for events (promotions), which supports respective category strategy to ensure growth, customer satisfaction and increased profitability.
• Ensure and facilitate synergies with internal functions to better understand the needs of MAF Retail.
• Ensure collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the sourcing function.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility Requirements for role of an International Negotiator are as under:

• Diploma in International Business Management / Negotiation or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• 1-3 years in retail, preferably related industry in International Merchandise.
