Job Description

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist (HVAC Core, Service) to join their team in Dubai. Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, candidate will play a vital role in supporting UAE customers. Candidate will be responsible for identifying customer requirements, providing solutions and services and ensuring customer satisfaction and account retention.

Responsibilities of Inside Sales Specialist

  • Collaborate with Outside Sales, Field Operations and technical services resources to develop proposals that accurately address customer needs, adhering to JCI’s standards and specifications.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, answering queries and providing basic technical advice and information on new product introductions and modifications.
  • Handle inquiries related to HVAC Core (Service) systems, building and maintaining relationships with Wholesale Distributors and coordinating new and repeat sales.
  • Create proposals using CPQ/pricing tools and service selection tools.
  • Review proposals prior to customer submission, ensuring they meet customer needs.
  • Measure and enhance lead-to-proposal time.
  • Review and approve Order Receipt.
  • Conduct outbound calls for follow-up and maintain accurate records in SFDC.
  • Conduct weekly call blitzes and follow up on submitted proposals.
  • Contact customers with outstanding or soon-to-expire proposals.
  • Review current and expiring contracts, as well as contract performance.

Requirements for Role of Inside Sales Specialist

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales/estimation in the HVAC and Building Technology Industry.
  • Strong phone presence and experience making a high volume of calls.
  • Experience working with a CRM database.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Proven track record of over-achieving goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.
  • Ability to quickly learn Johnson Control’s product lines.
  • Proficiency in Arabic language.
