Information Technology System Engineer Mohamed Hilal Group Sharjah

Mohamed Hilal Group is looking for a dedicated Information Technology System Engineer in FCQ+P8X, University City, Sharjah, UAE to join their team and take charge of ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems across multiple sites. As a key member of their team, candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network systems, and ensuring the security and efficiency of their IT environment. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-17000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Information Technology System Engineer

• Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.
• Network Management: Monitor and maintain LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
• Implement security measures to safeguard network integrity.
• Collaborate on network upgrades and expansions.
• System Maintenance: Conduct regular system updates and backups.
• Ensure manufacturing-specific software operates effectively.
• Support peripheral devices like printers, scanners, and barcode readers.
• Project Management: Assist in planning and executing IT projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate with departments to address IT needs.
• Document IT procedures, policies, and best practices.
• Training and Support: Conduct training on new technologies and systems.
• Provide guidance for IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements for Role of Information Technology System Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of IT support experience, ideally in manufacturing & ecommerce.
• Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MES) and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
