While experience in teaching the IB Middle Years and Diploma programmers is preferred, outstanding teachers from any curriculum background are encouraged to apply. Job Requirements of Humanities Teacher

A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in a humanities subject.
A minimum of 3 years experience teaching a Middle Years Program Individuals & Societies course will be highly favorable, though experience teaching a humanities subject in an Upper High School / Secondary school will be considered.
The experience, personality and educational philosophy to continue to drive the education agenda at this flagship GEMS World school catering for students from over 100 countries.
Experience in supporting or leading the Duke of Edinburgh Award at bronze, silver or gold level will also be highly favorable, though not mandatory.
