Job Description
Star International School Al Twar and Al Qusais is looking for HR Officer to join their rapidly growing team, for an immediate start. The selected candidate is responsible to provide a professional organized HR service to all members of staff ensuring their needs are met alongside those of the relevant regulatory bodies. Take an active role in the day to day running of their busy school and support their vision of being the school of choice for the community.
Responsibilities of HR Officer
- To ensure that the Single Central Register & HR dashboard is fully updated and accurate with all relevant information.
- To support the school in the recruitment and induction of staff.
- To support the HR Manager in all HR operational processes.
- To liaise with various teams to ensure that new joiner items are ready and in place before they join.
- Issuing them with an experience letter.
- To maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
- To keep up to date with best practice and legislation.
- To liaise with the PRO to ensure documentation required for governance is in order.
- To assist with organizing in house or off site activities for all staff.
- To maintain a visible, professional and high profile within the school.
- To maintain staff records on the Cezanne database and ensure staff are aware how to use it.
- To log staff attendance and inform the HR Manager of patterns of staff attendance.
- To support the day to day running of the school for example reception duty, meeting guests etc.
- To carry out other tasks as necessary to ensure the happy and smooth running of the school.
- To be friendly, approachable, professional, discreet and knowledgeable, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- To be able to speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally and in writing.
- To plan, organize and priorities time and workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Requirements
The requirements for the job role of HR Officer are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
