As a Housekeeping Attendant, you are responsible for ensuring that all assigned rooms and areas are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards.
You will support the Housekeeping Supervisor and Team Leader in delivering operational efficiency and consistent quality across the property.
This role is essential in ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort.

You will prepare and maintain guestrooms and public areas, ensuring they are clean, organised, and ready for guest arrival.
From making beds to replenishing amenities, every task you complete contributes to a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.

The Gig
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Attendant supports daily housekeeping operations at InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay.

You will be responsible for cleaning assigned rooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Your Day-to-Day
No two days are the same; your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Room Cleaning & Preparation
- Clean and service assigned guestrooms and residences
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure proper room setup
- Replenish amenities, towels, and supplies
- Ensure rooms are clean, fresh, and ready for guest arrival
Public Area Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned public areas
- Ensure corridors, service areas, and back-of-house areas are tidy
- Support deep cleaning tasks when required
Guest Experience
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
- Ensure attention to detail in room presentation
- Report and follow up on guest preferences when applicable
- Deliver service with professionalism and care
Operational Support
- Report maintenance issues to the Supervisor or Team Leader
- Follow daily task schedules and priorities
- Handle linen and supplies responsibly
- Support team members when needed
Quality & Compliance
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly
- Maintain cleanliness according to brand standards
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures

What We Need From You
Ideally, you bring some (or all) of the following:
Education
- Basic education required; hospitality training is an advantage
Experience
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Experience in hotels or serviced residences is an advantage
- Familiarity with cleaning standards and procedures beneficial
- GCC/Dubai experience is a plus
