Carries out cleaning procedures in accomplishing the task of housekeeping; which includes general cleaning, spring cleaning, floor waxing & polishing, cleaning of walls, cleaning and polishing of the furniture etc.
- To clean all the assigned area as per the schedule.
- Cleans discharge rooms for admission, to clean all OPDs and treatment rooms, critical areas and all other areas of the hospital.
- Taking care of garbage cans and collect the garbage whenever it is ¾ full.
- Filling out the washroom checklist after cleaning & maintaining the washroom half hourly.
- Using the proper safety & sanitation procedures in performing his assigned duties.
- To follow all infection control practices in performing his assigned duties.
- Being careful with the resident belongings so that nothing gets damaged & lost.
- Completing his portion of work to the required standard.
- To follow the Duty Rota and Duty allocation made by the supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned & instructed by their supervisor.
- Report all discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
- To maintain proper grooming standards during duty hours.
- Ensure the patients are treated courteously.
4.2 Secondary Responsibility
- Maintain professional conduct with internal and external customers for a robust working environment.
- Attend training for self-development.
- Participate in the performance evaluation system.
- Perform other duties as and when assigned based on the requirement.
