Job Purpose of A Guest Service Team Leader
Oversee and enhance the guest experience while leading a team to deliver exceptional services.
Your Job Duties As An Emirati Guest Service Team Leader At Transguard Group Dubai, UAE
- Provide and model outstanding customer service to all stakeholders throughout the whole of Expo site, including guests, clients and colleagues always, exceeding their expectations.
- Fully understand the content, values and wider cultural significance of the pavilion acting as the face of the nation.
- Motivate and inspire Guest Experience Hosts, forecast and anticipate needs, wants and concerns from staff and lead.
- Deal with any public complaints responsibly, calmly, efficiently and politely following pavilion complaints procedures and reporting upwards.
- Manage and organize the hosts day-to-day shifts and rosters ensuring shifts are varied and rest breaks allocated in suitable time frames.
- Manage queues and guest expectations during busy times.
- Monitor guest numbers, and flow inside the pavilion at all times.
- Manage Guest Services, monitor guest numbers, Ambassadors absence and leave cover effectively operations are never compromised.
- Manage the Ambassadors at each of their working stations and whilst facilitating guests at the pavilion.
- Manage the opening procedures including morning checks and closing procedures of the pavilion dependent on shift patterns.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and safety training.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Guest Service.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of English language.
- Excellent communication skills- Articulate and extrovert and enjoy talking to people.
- Confidence and a willingness to learn.
- Basic Knowledge of Health & Safety.
