It undertakes the provision of administrative support services to enable the Judicial Council to carry out the functions entrusted to it, and to provide the information, data and studies it requests, provided that the Secretary-General of the Judicial Council is appointed by a decree issued by His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, and he undertakes the tasks and powers assigned to him in this law and the decisions issued pursuant thereto.

Job Description

1. Prepare supplier account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of supplier payments.
2. Prepare purchase orders and payment orders and liaise with support services to initiate payment.
3. Issue distributions for all expenses and payments to suppliers to settle supplier payments.
4. Review payments related to employee deductions such as (telephone, medical, etc.) to support the needs of eligible employees.
5. Coordinate with support services to disburse employee entitlements, advance payments, cash salaries, monthly invoices, and other miscellaneous payments to ensure they are provided accurately and on time.
6. Review the monthly administrative report of the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council, submit it for approval, and coordinate with support services.
7. Perform reconciliation of sub-accounts to verify and ensure the maintenance of accounts and confirm disbursement of entitlements from the sub-items of the relevant budget chapter.
8. Verify and maintain financial contracts to ensure compliance with financial terms and obligations and include them in the annual budget.
9. Apply policies, procedures, and standards to improve and standardize accounting processes.
10. Coordinate with the other units of the General Secretariat to provide the financial needs of the various departments.
11. Maintain the security of the organizational unit’s data and operations, documents, and information.
12. Contribute to improving the functions of the payments system at the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council by providing information to apply payment system standards, strategies, and procedures within the annual strategic and operational plan of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, aligning them with the strategies of the General Secretariat to achieve its mission, vision, and values.
13. Coordinate with the IT team of the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council to develop the electronic system serving members of the judicial authority and verify the effectiveness and testing of these programs.
14. Supervise coordination with various entities in the assets project and follow up its completion on time.
15. Manage the assets system to ensure it is updated with new assets in accordance with the approved policy and directives.
16. Organize the monthly Financial Committee meetings, raise topics related to the finances of the General Secretariat, prepare the meeting minutes, and act on and implement the directives of the Committee Chairman on time.
17. Prepare the final account of the General Secretariat’s budget in coordination with the relevant entities.
18. Submit monthly reports to the direct manager regarding the General Secretariat’s budget and what has been disbursed, and follow up continuously.
19. Prepare the General Secretariat’s annual budget based on its technical and administrative needs and the contracts concluded.
20. Any other tasks assigned to him.
