This role manages the day‑to‑day tax compliance affairs for an international group, therefore ensuring adherence to Corporate Tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and OECD Pillar 2 regulations. You will prepare and review tax filings, maintain the tax control framework, and support quarter‑end closing with tax provisions and forecasts. Consequently, your expertise in SAP, Oracle, or Cognos, combined with strong compliance focus, will directly support business operations and strategic projects across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Group’s day‑to‑day tax affairs, including corporate tax compliance and related processes across all portfolio companies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of the Group’s Corporate Tax compliance filings, therefore ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead readiness for OECD Pillar 2 Tax filings, including collecting relevant Pillar 2 data and aligning with portfolio companies on local compliance (registration, DMTT filings, provisioning).
• Own and prepare transfer pricing documentation, including master file, local files, country‑by‑country reporting, and relevant Pillar 2 compliance obligations (entity classifications, registrations, GIR return, DMTT).
• Assist in the preparation and review of VAT returns filings, plus support e‑invoicing implementation projects across several jurisdictions.
• Maintain and execute the Group’s tax control framework, therefore ensuring robust internal controls and audit readiness.
• Support quarter‑end closing activities by preparing tax provisions and forecasts.
• Support the implementation of new tax regulations, contributing to the design and implementation of Operational Transfer Pricing initiatives.
• Partner with external tax advisors and manage relationships with Tax Authorities as needed. Support efforts to pursue refunds, credits, and incentives when entering new markets.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Accounting, Legal, FP&A, and local Tax and Finance teams. Stay informed of new tax legislation to serve as the go‑to person for tax matters.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Formal tax qualification or membership from CTA, IFA, NOB, or similar body is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Big Four Tax firm, and/or as an in‑house tax professional within an international organisation.
• Experienced in operating with top levels within an organisation, therefore comfortable with regular contact with employees, managers, and executives across functions and geographies (remotely and in person).
• Accustomed to regular external contact with Tax Authorities, government agencies, lawyers, and third‑party service providers.
• Good finance and tax knowledge, along with well‑developed IT skills in SAP, Oracle, Cognos, and/or MS Office.
• Strong focus on compliance, with proven ability to take ownership of a project from start to completion.
• Analytical, strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, plus strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Management and leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage virtual teams.
