About the Role

The Football Coach works closely with the Director of Sport and the wider PE team at Dubai College, supporting the delivery of high-quality training, competition, and enrichment experiences. Furthermore, this role is central to the College’s Character Development Activities (CDA) programme, which uses sport as a powerful vehicle for personal growth. The coach supports students across a wide range of abilities, ensuring sessions are purposeful, inclusive, and appropriately challenging. Moreover, the postholder contributes positively to the broader life and culture of the Dubai College community.

Key Responsibilities for Football Coach at Dubai College Dubai

• Lead structured football training sessions for students across all year groups
• Coordinate and manage competitive fixtures and matches against other schools
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on technical and tactical development
• Develop individual and team programmes to maximise student potential on the pitch
• Promote a culture of respect, resilience, and teamwork through sport
• Support the College’s Character Development Activities (CDA) programme delivery
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of sporting enrichment events and activities
• Collaborate with the PE department and coaching staff on cross-sport initiatives
• Manage equipment, facilities, and health and safety standards during all sessions
• Communicate student progress effectively to parents, coaches, and school leadership

Requirements

• Relevant coaching qualification (UEFA C licence or equivalent)
• Proven experience coaching football at school, academy, or club level
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
• Ability to inspire students of all abilities in a multicultural environment
• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
• DBS check or equivalent international police clearance required
