Job Description
Food Inspector accountable for compliance in food production and storage as per government and Group guidelines on the food production, storage facilities and services to ensure customers and patrons are served with excellent quality products and high level customer service assuring retention and satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities of Food Inspector
- SOPs on Food Safety: Implement and comply on food safety standards based on set policies and authority guidelines.
- Sanitation and Control: Adopt and implement periodic sanitation programs validated. By the management to ensure reduction of hazards in storage facilities and operational areas.
- Regular Inspections: Plan and conduct inspections to documented and reported. Schedule inspections to identify areas of non-compliance. Initiate meetings to discuss corrective and preventive actions and follow up implementation.
- Training: Conduct regular trainings on cleanliness and sanitation methods to EDFC staff members to ensure awareness on personal and operational hygiene practices. Job Specific Information
- Hygiene Officer will work closely with the kitchen and store teams to ensure cleanliness and orderliness is maintain in the areas and report non-compliance to food safety and hazard control to line management and record details for rectification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, biology, nutrition, agriculture, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in food inspection, quality assurance, food safety, or regulatory compliance.
