Ras Al Khaimah Airport is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Firefighter in Ras Al-Khaimah, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The selected candidate will be responsible to perform rescue and firefighting technics and tactics in line with ICAO & GCAA Standards and Recommended Practices. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 5000-8000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inspecting fire appliances, media levels, firefighting and rescue equipment.
• Ensure full understanding of vehicle and/or equipment and limitations to ensure utilization within design parameters.
• Operate Fire Fighting and Rescue Equipment and Tools.
• Respond to all relevant incidents and accidents within area of jurisdiction, scope of training and expertise.
• Respond to all medical emergencies within area of jurisdiction and scope of training.
• Adhere to safety standards and practices when responding to/from incidents & accidents.
• Carry out fire and life safety programs and prevention plans.
• Undergo physical and theoretical training according to the Structured Learning Program.
• Participate in fire, evacuations, medical and security drills and exercises.
• Conduct risk and safety assessments.
• Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOPs, operational standards, RAK AIRPORT policies and procedures, employee manual and Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain the level of physical fitness necessary to carry out all the duties of a firefighter.

Requirements for Role of Firefighter

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years previous experience as a firefighter, rescue, or technical occupations.
