Firefighter ADNOC Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC  is actively recruiting for a Firefighter in Abu Dhabi. Succesful candidate will perform his duties at ADNOC onshore site in Ruwais. Job Role of Firefighter

Perform fire suppression and prevention, and respond to hazards and incidents within the assigned premises for the necessary lifesaving, hazards control, and asset protection activities.

Responsibilities of Firefighter

• Perform rescue activities, prioritize lifesaving at the time of incidents.
• Perform basic first aid case to the injured persons in the scene and initiate proper immediate care.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of firstaid treatments.
• Carry out firefighting activities in different situations.
• Perform firefighting duties such as preventing, controlling and extinguishing fires.
• Respond to all alarms, communication and notifications to ensure emergencies realities.
• Participate in routine training and drill on fire prevention, rescue technique, and safe handling of firefighting equipment.
• Carry out hazards control activities and evacuation to ensure reducing the possibilities of severity of
  encountered situations.
• Attend the emergency Incidents and prevents the damage of life and property from Hydrocarbon Fires,
  Aircraft Incidents, Casualty Handling, Rescue Incidents, Chemical Spillage and Marine Incident.
• Perform standby and hot work stand-by duties using firefighting equipment, breathing apparatus and
  specialist rescue equipment during plant routine maintenance and project works.
• Participate in watch activities in assigned area, project, asset, zone, etc.
• Report and address acts
  and other feedback, recommend, advice, and communicate any potential unsafe acts.
• Maintain firefighting equipment, equipment for HSE or plant, to ensure availability and operability at all
  times.
• Operate and refill firefighting machines and equipment to ensure readiness.
• Carry out equipment
  and tools inspection to ensure the operating condition, maintain fire station premises, flush and check
  and replenish firefighting equipment.
• Check and inspect fire and safety equipment in assigned areas or premises.
• Oversee contractors and
  employees activities and ensure proper jobs in accordance with PTW system.
• Carry out control room duties, train and drill regularly on fire prevention, firefighting and safety equipment, maintenance and general rescue techniques.
• Undergo physical fitness training to ensure self health.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

• Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.

Experience 

• 4 years of experience in firefighting, rescue, or technical occupations.
• Knowledge of facility topography, location of hydrants, operation of pumps, ladder, rescue, tanker and fire apparatus equipment.

Professional Certification

• NFPA 1001.
• Driving License.
• Defensive Driving License.
