Job Description

EDGE Group is actively hiring qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of a Finance Cost Controller. The selected candidate will be assigned to work at EPI Company (subsidiary of EDGE Group). EDGE Group has just announced this vacancy and is openly accepting applications from all interested candidates.

Responsibilities of Finance Cost Controller

  • Play a crucial role in overseeing and managing financial activities related to cost control and budgeting within the organization.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient utilization of financial resources, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to the overall financial health and profitability of the company.
  • Cost Analysis and monitoring.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Financial reporting.
  • Inventory Control.
  • Process Improvement.
  • Compliance and Regulation.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for in role of Finance Cost Controller are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 5+ year experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
  • Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
  • Aerospace, Defense and Oil & Gas experience is desirable.
  • Hands on experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and cost accounting standards.
  • Proficient in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
