Job Description
Accor Hotel Mövenpick Media City is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of F&B Hostess. The opening of Resort is scheduled this month, so this vacancy has been posted by the hotel for desirous applicants to hurriedly apply and make use of this fleeting opportunity.

- Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, setting the tone for a positive dining experience.
- Manage reservations, seating guests efficiently according to table availability and preferences.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of restaurant layout, capacity, menus, and specials.
- Assist guests with menu questions and recommendations, providing excellent service with a smile.
- Ensure tables are properly set and equipped for smooth service delivery.
- Handle waitlists calmly and effectively, communicating wait times and managing guest expectations.
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, prioritizing their satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand, contributing to a positive first impression.
- Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
Requirements of F&B Hostess
The requirements of F&B Hostess are as under:
- High school diploma or equivalent or certification/diploma in hospitality.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operation preferably in a similar quality hotel.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Being fluent in English and any additional language is an advantage.
- A friendly, outgoing behavior, able to involve and support operation
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently
- Has strong decision-making abilities and able to work in long hours.
