FABRICATION CHARGEHAND Full-time

NMDC Group is hiring a Fabrication Chargehand for its Energy BU in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role leads fabrication crews on structural, piping and module assembly activities across offshore and onshore EPC projects, ensuring quality, schedule and HSE targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fitters, welders, grinders and helpers in daily fabrication and assembly works.
• Interpret structural and piping drawings, isometrics and ITPs and assign work accordingly.
• Set out, fit-up and dimension check structural sections and pipe spools before welding.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection holds, NDT calls and dimensional verifications.
• Enforce permit-to-work, toolbox talks, PPE and HSE compliance across the fabrication area.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of fabrication experience in oil & gas, marine or heavy industrial construction.
• Trade certification in fabrication / structural fitting.
• Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and isometrics.
• Good spoken English and willing to work yard or offshore shifts as required.
