The British International School Abu Dhabi (BIS Abu Dhabi), a Nord Anglia Education school, is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and adaptable English Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. About You

You will be a teacher who is passionate about your profession and seeks continuous improvement. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, parents and colleagues. You will have strong experience of the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage.

You will be an excellent communicator who works well with all members of the community. You will have a strong focus on being the best teacher you can be and will also participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life. Keen to collaborate and share your expertise, you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to build strong working relationships. The flexibility and open-mindedness required to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment are essential.

About the Role

Our school follows the English national curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme post-16. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful, and expectations are high for achievement for all students. Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents is essential and is a key part of maximising student progress.

Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Head Teacher/Principal.
