Job Description

Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara is recruiting qualified and skillful candidate for the job role of Duty Manager. The selected candidate is responsible for taking care of our guests and our team members by coordinating all operations of the hotel. You will ensure that all team members are up to date with the current knowledge of all the hotel products and services including room types, rates, facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club.

Responsibilities of Duty Manager

  • You will monitor all arrivals, ensuring all guest requests are carried out smoothly and that all reservations are dealt with as efficiently as possible.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the hotel to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Addressing and resolving guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinating with various departments to maintain high standards of service.
  • Ensuring compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Supervising and supporting front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
  • Handling emergency situations with efficiency and calmness.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the safety and security of guests and staff.
  • Assisting in staff training and development to enhance service quality.
  • Managing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Acting as the point of contact for both guests and staff for assistance and information.

Requirements of Duty Manager

The requirements of Duty Manager are as under:

  • College degree in hotel management or related field
  • 4-5 years of previous experience in Front Office as  Duty Manager for at least 2 years

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Strong communication skills in English as well as other language skills such as German/Italian/Chinese/Arabic languages .
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Positive Attitude.
