Job Description

Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Revenue to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a keen eye for driving revenue streams. As Director of Revenue, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue management, including pricing strategies, market analysis, and promotional activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in maximizing the hotel’s profitability and ensuring sustainable growth.

Responsibilities of Director of Revenue

  • Develop and implement strategic revenue plans to optimize the hotel’s financial performance.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overarching business goals.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing and inventory based on demand and market conditions.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to forecast revenue, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR) to meet or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and take proactive measures to enhance profitability.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in revenue management.

Requirements of Director of Revenue

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Proven track record in a senior revenue management role within the hospitality industry in the Dubai market.
