Job Description

Emirates Transport is seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Finance to join their team in Dubai. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide crucial support to management decision-making by delivering relevant financial information through meticulous management reporting, insightful analysis, and strategic financial planning.

Duties of Director of FP&A & Business Transport

  • Participates in the annual business planning process and leads the preparation of a detailed five-year financial outlook.
  • Leads the annual budgeting process and ensures alignment with the approved business plan.
  • Prepares updated full-year estimates and other financial forecasts as needed.
  • Establishes and oversees effective budget control processes.
  • Monitors industry trends and economic changes.
  • Provides management with explanations of financial variations and developments.
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc management reports for stakeholders.
  • Supports the development and reporting of business scorecards and financial trackers.
  • Offers insights on company performance, highlighting gaps and risks.
  • Supports the preparation of monthly performance review material and conducts follow-up reviews on investments.
  • Assists in preparing business cases and financial feasibility studies.
  • Collaborates with accountable management to analyze business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drives forward-looking agendas focused on achieving strategic targets.
  • Identifies and addresses issues impacting financial or non-financial performance metrics.
  • Maintains an external perspective, challenging the status quo with new ideas and best practices.
  • Coordinates with other finance team members on relevant matters.
  • Prepares financial analysis and reports to support business decisions.
  • Develops and mentors talent within the division, setting SMART objectives and KPIs for direct reports.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Director of FP&A & Business Transport are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, supplemented with other relevant functional qualifications.
  • CA / CPA / CMA or equivalent.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, business finance, or related fields.
