Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished Director HR Business Partnering with a proven track record in running HR operations and driving the strategic aspects of HR department. This role is pivotal in creating a high-performance culture while ensuring employee satisfaction and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR operations experience, a strategic mindset, and a strong business acumen, with deep knowledge of UAE labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence across the retail organization.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment efforts, ensuring the onboarding of top-tier retail talent. Work closely with leadership to develop robust succession plans and nurture future leaders.
- Oversee performance management frameworks, ensuring consistent implementation of reviews and alignment with corporate goals to drive employee and organizational growth.
- Manage the HR budget, balancing workforce planning and employee programs while ensuring cost efficiency.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives, including targeted training programs and well-being initiatives, ensuring alignment with evolving retail demands
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and enforce HR policies while ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulatory standards. Proactively address and resolve complex workplace challenges with discretion.
- Enhance HR systems and processes to improve efficiency and service delivery across a dynamic retail workforce.
- Provide strategic HR leadership, bringing a business-oriented approach to decision-making and aligning HR initiatives with broader corporate objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership to guide teams through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining employee morale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.
- At least 12 years of HR leadership experience, with a strong background in the retail industry and managing teams of 5 or more.
- Extensive HR operations experience, with a deep understanding of workforce planning, compliance, HR best practices, performance management, and employee engagement, tailored to fast-paced retail environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor laws, employment regulations, and best practices in people management
- Proficiency in HR technologies and data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels
