Job Description

Director Commercial Finance at GMG will play a strategic role in leading and managing the commercial finance function across GMG. This position is integral in driving financial performance, profitability, and growth by acting as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team. The director will provide financial insights, develop financial strategies, and ensure robust financial governance across all business units. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Director Commercial Finance

  • Develop and implement commercial finance strategies to drive business growth and profitability across all divisions.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide insightful financial analysis and decision support that aligns with corporate objectives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accurate financial projections and resource allocation.
  • Oversee financial performance assessments, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and revenue enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and refine financial policies accordingly.
  • Support merger and acquisition activities with comprehensive financial due diligence and integration strategies.
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, technology, and process automation to enhance financial transparency and efficiency.

Requirements for Role of Director Commercial Finance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional finance qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in working within multinational, matrix-organised companies is highly advantageous.
  • Solid track record in commercial finance or similar roles, with significant leadership and management experience, particularly in a Retail environment.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Proven track record in strategic finance partnering, driving business performance, and financial governance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
