Sunmarke School in Dubai is looking for a skilled Design Technology Technician to support the DT department. This hands-on role involves maintaining workshop equipment, preparing materials and supporting teachers during practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities for Design Technology Technician at Sunmarke School Dubai
- Prepare materials, tools and equipment for DT practical lessons
- Maintain and repair workshop machinery and tools
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in workshops
- Support teachers during practical sessions with student supervision
- Manage DT department stock and consumables ordering
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Design Technology, Engineering or related field
- Experience working in a school DT workshop or similar environment
- Knowledge of woodwork, metalwork, resistant materials and CAD/CAM
- Health and safety awareness for workshop environments
- Good organisational and communication skills
Salary and Benefits
- Tax-free salary: AED 5,000 – 8,000 per month
