Job Description
NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Design and Estimation Engineer -Fire Alarm -ELV in Dubai.
Job Description of Design and Estimation Engineer
- To be successful in this role you must be well versed with Fire and Line Safety UAE fire codes and NFPA -72
- Must have and experience in estimation of FAS , FAVE , PAVA , CBS and Emergency Lighting systems
- Ability to design Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems for small, medium, and large projects
- Prepare detailed fire alarm system estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
- Review and analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation to determine materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.
- Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and assess project requirements.
- Research and source materials and equipment needed for fire alarm system installations.
- Should have experience in Fire Alarm , Emergency, Lighting , Voice evacuation and PAVA
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system estimation or a similar role.
- Relevant certifications in fire alarm system design and estimation.
- Experience in the construction or electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm system components, codes, and regulations.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office.
