Job Description
Novomed is presently seeking a female Dermatology nurse ( preferably Filipino) to join their team in Dubai. This job opening was announced by the company on January 5, 2024 and is now open for applications from the desirous candidates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards.
Responsibilities of Dermatology Nurse
- Recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.
- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians.
- Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone.
- Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes.
- Performs nursing care for patient who visit outpatient department in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of health care errors.
- Able to perform the procedures (not limited to) intravenous injection, intramuscular injection, intradermal injection, subcutaneous injection, IV cannulation, administration of fleet enema, oxygen administration, 12 lead ECG, nebulization.
- Assist specialists / consultants in the specific dermatology procedures done in the OPD.
- Perform the initial assessment of the patient.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the department as per infection control and waste management policy of the hospital.
- Prepare, administer and documents medication if given to the patient.
- Maintain and update all relevant patient documentations/medical records as per hospital policy and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient’s records.
- Assess the patient and family education needs and provide health education.
Role Requirements
Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Dermatology Nurse (female) at Novomed:
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure (DHA).
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a Dermatology Clinic/ Department.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in UAE.
