About the Role

Al Ain British Academy is seeking a Data Administrator and Examinations Officer to join the school with an immediate start date. Additionally, this full-time administrative position involves managing the daily operation of external and internal examinations while ensuring all required materials and arrangements are in place. Furthermore, the successful candidate will serve as the Cover Supervisor and support the Assistant Principal in producing curriculum timetables and statistical data. Key Responsibilities for Data Administrator and Examinations Officer at Al Ain British Academy

As the Data Administrator and Examinations Officer, you will organise examination rooms in accordance with JCQ and IB regulations and produce centre timetables including dates, times, and venues. Moreover, you will liaise with examination boards regarding entries and arrangements while managing access arrangements for students with special educational needs. In addition, you will process coursework and exam scripts, brief candidates on regulations, and arrange invigilation training for teachers. Furthermore, you will organise CAT, GL, and NGRT testing timetables, produce statistical data on examination results, and ensure all internal school data is uploaded on the ADEK ESIS portal on a termly basis. You will also serve as Cover Supervisor ensuring teacher absences are covered.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must hold a degree or relevant vocational qualification along with a successful high school completion certificate. Additionally, experience as a highly organised administrator with experience in leading projects is required. Moreover, candidates should have experience managing people and working to operational deadlines, along with examinations modules CPD from Pearson or Cambridge. Furthermore, strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems, as well as experience with school and exams systems such as MIS, Engage, Edexcel, CIE, and Results Plus are essential.
