About the Role
As Curriculum Lead at Noya British School, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and development of your department, ensuring curriculum coverage, continuity, and progression for all students. Furthermore, you will develop and implement policies that reflect the school’s vision and commitment to high standards of achievement. Moreover, you will use data effectively to identify underachieving students and create targeted action plans to support their progress.
Key Responsibilities for Curriculum Lead at Noya British School Abu Dhabi
- Develop and implement department policies reflecting the school’s vision and commitment to high standards
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate short, medium, and long-term plans for department development
- Use data to identify underachieving students and create action plans to support them
- Analyse and interpret school data to inform policies and department SEF writing
- Ensure appropriate schemes of work are developed for all year groups including SEN, G&T, and EAL provision
- Set expectations for staff regarding standards of achievement and quality of teaching
- Evaluate the quality of teaching and learning and take action to improve
- Ensure department contribution to CAS Programme and revision sessions for IGCSE and IB DP courses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 6 years of teaching experience
- Experience of the UK curriculum
- A commitment to an extensive enrichment programme
- Passionate and caring educator with strong leadership skills
- Understanding and appreciation of the values of the UAE region
- Satisfactory references and police clearance required
