Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess credit applications submitted by customers.
- Analyze financial statements, bank references, trade references, and credit reports.
- Conduct credit risk assessments and recommend credit limits and payment terms.
- Monitor existing customer accounts and identify potential credit risks.
- Evaluate customer payment histories and credit trends.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and other departments regarding customer credit matters.
- Prepare credit evaluation reports and recommendations for management approval.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding information required for credit assessments.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in periodic reviews of customer credit limits and account statuses.
- Support collection activities when required by providing credit-related insights.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school / Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in credit analysis, credit evaluation, finance, or a related role.
- Experience reviewing financial statements and assessing credit risk.
- Knowledge of credit management principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
