Job Description
Invest Bank is presently recruiting qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of Corporate Recovery Manager. This job revolves around active engagement and participation in the early stages of collection/recovery process. To own and drive mid or late stages of the recovery process to optimize loss mitigation by reducing the defaulted client exposure through restructuring, recovery and/or realization of collateral.
Responsibilities of Corporate Recovery Manager
- Ensure proper handover/takeover of assigned delinquent accounts from relevant Business Unit.
- Perform a full review of the available securities and ensure all documentations are in place.
- Conduct a root causes analysis to diagnose the reasons of the financial troubles for each vulnerable case.
- Carefully evaluate relevant revival capability and design account strategy, and identify suitable treatment, options and optimum exit strategy.
- Work closely with the borrowers, and other stakeholders, lead negotiations and enforce solutions with a focus on recovery and turnaround of each assigned NPL/account while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Present good quality proposals on assigned accounts with adequate strategy in order to maximize the recovery.
- Ensure meeting set recovery targets.
- Propose a legal action wherever necessary to safeguard the bank’s interests. Coordinate with the internal and external legal counsels to identify the appropriate legal strategy, attend all legal and court calls, and follow up on the legal proceedings for the cases under litigation within the assigned portfolio.
- Review the classification of the accounts under the assigned portfolio and propose amendments where needed in line with the bank’s provisioning policy and IFRS9.
- Pro-actively follow up on the cases assigned to collection agencies to maximize the recovery.
- Ensure compliance to the Bank’s policies and procedures. Attend to regulatory authority, internal and external audit, and compliance including timely refresh of KYC documents wherever needed and applies.
- Contribute in the presentation of all MIS reports, recovery budgets, and monthly / quarterly provisions reviews as required.
Requirements of Corporate Recovery Manager
Requirements of Corporate Recovery Manager are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Corporate Banking of which at least 5 years in Corporate Recovery.
