This role develops and implements comprehensive pricing strategies for freight services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability while analyzing market trends and competitor pricing. You will collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to optimise pricing structures, set policies, and monitor key performance metrics. Consequently, your strategic pricing decisions, escalated issue resolution, and training programs directly drive revenue growth, cost efficiencies, and strong customer relationships – all while supporting US‑based clients on US working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for freight services, therefore ensuring competitiveness and profitability across all product lines.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform data‑driven pricing decisions and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to optimise pricing structures, therefore aligning pricing policies with business objectives.
- Set and maintain pricing policies to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Monitor and analyse pricing performance against key metrics.
- Provide pricing guidance and support to sales teams, helping them win profitable business through strategic rate recommendations.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools, conducting regular pricing reviews and adjusting strategies as market conditions change.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Manage the pricing budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct customer and market research to inform pricing strategies, then provide regular updates and reports to senior management on pricing performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Handle escalated pricing issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in freight pricing. Develop and deliver training programs on pricing strategies and tools.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives. Prepare and present pricing proposals and strategies to senior management.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision‑making to achieve organisational goals. This role serves US‑based clients, therefore working hours are based on US timing.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in pricing, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, market analysis, and financial modelling.
- Experience in developing and implementing pricing policies and strategies, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
- Proven ability to handle escalated pricing issues and resolve them effectively.
- Experience in managing a pricing budget and allocating resources efficiently.

- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel advanced) and pricing tools. Attention to detail, adaptability, and team collaboration.
- Willingness to work US hours (evening/night shifts in UAE) to support US‑based clients.
