Job Description

Management industry is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Cleaners/Janitors in Dubai. This vacancy was announced by the Khaleej Times on 23 March 2024. Candidates desirous for this role should submit their resume to begin with the application process.

Responsibilities of Cleaners/Janitors

  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and doors to ensure a spotless appearance.
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning products as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleaning supply needs to the supervisor or manager.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas, closets, and janitorial rooms.

Requirements for Cleaners/Janitors

  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift and carry heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years in similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing high quality cleaning services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
