CHIEF OFFICER – SDPO Full-time

Responsible to operate DP system as per operation requirement

• Responsible for the continual on –duty – scheme in the DP control room.
• Ensure that all DP system data are recorded.
• Carry out the set up of the DP system operating parameters.
• Assist in performing maintenance on DP equipments
• Carry out frequent inspection on DP system sensors, computers and references.
• Should be familiar and implement IMCA requirements related to DP system.
• Responsible that the JDPO is well trained & capable of handling DP system.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• A Min. qualification required is Class 1 master FG COC II/2 with No limitations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Nautical science degree / diploma
• Full and unlimited DP certificates from Nautical institute
• Holding IMCA DP log book in which DP experience are recorded.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Sr.DPO /Chief officer on DP vessels same capacity.
• Good English Communication skills
• Good Knowledge of safe practices related to DP operation
• Good Knowledge of cargo operation / heavy lift operation.
• Capable to perform stability calculation and ballasting operation during lifts.
• Knowledge of deck maintenance.
• Computer literature.
• Capable of carrying out inspection include ISM, ISPS, Class Survey, Safety Survey, Client Inspection
