Jumeriah College Dubai is looking to hire suitably skilled and devoted candidate for role of Chemistry Teacher. This appointment is for September 2024 start. The successful candidate will be working in an exceptional department which is both extremely popular and successful. Despite the non selective nature of the school in 2023 100% of GCSE Level Chemistry students gained 9 4 out of which over 72% gained 9 8. 57% of A Level Chemistry students gained A*/B out of which 40% gained A*/A. Responsibilities of Chemistry Teacher

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the chosen curriculum (e.g., national standards, IB Diploma) and syllabus.
Utilize various teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, laboratory experiments, demonstrations, group activities, and technology integration.
Assess student learning through tests, quizzes, projects, presentations, and observations.
Provide individual feedback and support to help students improve their understanding of chemical concepts.

Job Requirements of Chemistry Teacher

A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
At least 2 years’ experience of the National Curriculum for England.
Experience which will enable a contribution to their enriched curriculum programme.
