Facility Management industry in Dubai is currently seeking a diligent and observant individual to join their team as a CCTV Operator. This role is integral to their surveillance operations and plays a key role in monitoring and maintaining security systems.

Responsibilities of CCTV Operator

• Monitor live and recorded video footage from CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, monitors, and recording systems, ensuring proper functioning and optimal coverage.
• Respond to alarms, alerts, and notifications generated by security systems, investigating and assessing potential threats or incidents.
• Coordinate with security personnel, law enforcement agencies, and emergency responders to address security breaches, disturbances, or criminal activities.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of surveillance activities, incidents, and observations, documenting relevant details and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of CCTV equipment and facilities, identifying and reporting technical issues or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with security team members and supervisors to develop and implement security protocols, procedures, and response plans.
• Monitor access control systems, including keycard access, biometric scanners, and electronic locks, to restrict unauthorized entry and enhance facility security.
• Provide support and assistance to security staff during special events, high risk situations, or emergencies, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills.
• Stay informed about security trends, technologies, and best practices, participating in training programs and professional development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Requirements of CCTV Operator

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional training or certification in security management, surveillance, or related fields is advantageous.
• Physical stamina and ability to sit for extended periods and monitor video screens for signs of suspicious activity.
• Previous experience of 1-2 years as a CCTV Operator, security guard, or in a similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems, surveillance software, and other security technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
