Responsibilities of Cashier
The responsibilities of the said job are as following.
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient, and accurate service at the cash register.
- Scan and process merchandise, ensuring correct prices and quantities.
- Handle cash transactions and provide change to customers accurately.
- Assist customers with finding products and answering their inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Process returns and exchanges following company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve store targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements of Cashier
The requirements for the said job are as following.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cash handling experience of 1-2 years is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in basic math skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
