Cabin Upholsterer in Cabin Workshop Emirates Airlines

Emirates Airlines is presently hiring skilled and devoted candidate for job role of Cabin Upholsterer in Cabin Workshop in UAE. The role holder will be responsible to carry out maintenance, Repairs on PAX seats, Aircraft Galleys, Toilets and other furnishing items on Aircraft and in Cabin Workshop and also to assist Senior Mechanics on major jobs.

Duties of Cabin Upholsterer in Cabin Workshop

• Carry out removal, installation of Carpet in Floor & Seat footrest.
• Carry out Removal of all types of Seat Cushion Covers.
• Carry out replacement of Minor plastic trim on Seats.
• Carry out sealing works in galley/Lavatory.
• Carry out fabrication on leather product as per sample.
• Carry out upholstering fabric repairs as per sample.
• Carry out tailoring of furnishing items like seat covers, foot-rest covers and carpets.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Cabin Upholsterer in Cabin Workshops are as under:

• 10 Years schooling or equivalent.
• 3+ Years of experience in a similar role.
• Upholsterer with minimum experience in leather works, stitching & fabrication of seat covers, foot-rest covers & carpets.
• Prefer experience in airline and Engg. Maintenance.

Skills Desired

• It is essential to be able to read, write & speak English.
• Proficient in measuring, cutting and sewing.
