Job Description

Chalhoub Group presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and dedicated candidate for position of a Buying Trainee in Unit GS, 075, Financial Center Rd, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, AE. The Job Holder will provide cross-category and brand support for the Buying function in the Middle East. This is an Entry level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 4000-8000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process. This vacancy was announced by the company on January 27, 2025. Responsibilities of Buying Trainee

  • Conducting pre-buying analysis, loading orders into the system, and verifying order confirmations.
  • Creating and managing image information packs for new season launches.
  • Supporting day-to-day reporting and trade analysis under the guidance of Buyers.
  • Assisting the team with store visits by providing key performance data and insights.
  • Performing competitor analysis across the GCC region.

Requirements for Role of Buying Trainee

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in related fields like procurement, supply chain, merchandising, or retail.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a passion for the fashion industry.
