Business development in industrial medicine and emergency healthcare solutions requires a different commercial mindset than standard B2B sales. You are selling mission-critical services to organisations where workforce health, event safety, and cross-border medical logistics directly affect operational continuity and duty of care obligations. This Business Development Manager role at Via Medica in association with International SOS places you at the front of a solution portfolio spanning industrial medicine, events medical support, training and consulting, assistance solutions, and cross-border healthcare — selling into sectors including oil and gas, construction, telecoms, financial services, and education across the UAE. You own the full commercial cycle from pipeline generation through to contract negotiation, account retention, and cross-sell expansion. If your background includes five or more years of complex B2B solution sales and you bring the executive presence to engage senior decision-makers across multinational organisations, this role is built around your strengths.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and convert a strong new business pipeline across target sectors in the UAE. Identify, approach, and secure new client relationships with senior decision-makers in oil and gas, construction, telecoms, financial services, education, and adjacent industries.
• Lead the full sales cycle independently. Develop proposals, structure pricing, and negotiate contracts that meet both client requirements and Via Medica’s revenue and profitability targets.
• Manage and grow existing key accounts. Drive cross-selling of complementary solutions, secure contract renewals, and identify account extension opportunities proactively before renewal windows open.
• Develop and maximise cross-border collaboration opportunities within the International SOS global network. Connect UAE client needs to international assistance and healthcare solutions where relevant.
• Build deep, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at executive and operational levels. Position Via Medica and International SOS as the preferred partner for end-to-end medical and security solutions in challenging environments.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM with accurate, current pipeline data, activity records, and account intelligence. Use CRM data to report performance, forecast revenue, and support strategic planning.
• Deliver results consistently against individual revenue and profitability targets. Track progress transparently and adjust commercial activity to close gaps proactively.
• Travel across the UAE as required for client meetings, site visits, proposal presentations, and industry events.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum five years of B2B sales experience in a complex, solution-based commercial environment. Proven track record of new business acquisition rather than account maintenance alone.
• Experience selling complex service solutions — ideally in healthcare, industrial medicine, emergency services, insurance, or a related sector where duty of care, compliance, or risk management drives purchasing decisions.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the confidence to lead commercial discussions at C-suite and senior management level.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multinational clients across diverse industries and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder procurement processes.
• Confident presenter with executive presence. You communicate the value of complex solutions clearly, credibly, and compellingly to varied audiences.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM platform, with disciplined pipeline management habits.
• Fluent written and spoken English. An additional language — particularly Arabic — is a strong advantage in the UAE market.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel across emirates for client engagement.
