The Bus Driver – Reception and Quality Control operates buses safely within the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) depots and network, supporting the reception, inspection, and quality control of vehicles in the Maintenance & Services department.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manoeuvre buses safely for reception, parking, and movement within depots and workshops.
- Support the inspection and quality control process by positioning vehicles and reporting any defects or irregularities.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness and roadworthiness.
- Comply with RTA safety standards, traffic regulations, and operating procedures at all times.
- Record mileage, fuel, and maintenance information accurately.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to ensure timely vehicle readiness.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid UAE driving licence appropriate for buses/heavy vehicles.
- Previous experience driving buses or heavy vehicles, preferably in a fleet or transport environment.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
