Job Description

NMC Healthcare is looking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Biomedical Executive UAEN in NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-12000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all JCIA policies and procedures are followed and implemented.
  • Responsible for maintaining all medical equipment according to Manufacturers recommendations.
  • Coordinates & performs different medical equipment related works and services. PPM, Calibration & Breakdown maintenance.
  • Coordinates all departmental requirements and purchase of spare parts. Ensure that the hospital standards and strategies comply with the latest industry practice, safety, environmental and process safety management requirements.
  • Responsible for spare parts Management & PPM Software.
  • Responsible for monitoring suppliers maintenance of the equipment under warranty and service contracts.
  • Scrutinizes medical equipment procured and countersign delivery notes as being approved by biomedical department, when necessary.
  • Responsible to evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of old biomedical equipment.
  • Assists in the purchase of Medical Equipment & Instruments.
  • Works in shifts to suit functioning of department.
  • To be available for ON CALL and overtime work as per employment contract.

Requirements for Role of Biomedical Executive

  • A Diploma/degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2+ years experience in biomedical engineering, medical device sales, healthcare management, or a related field.
