Audiovisual Technician IFZA Dubai

IFZA is actively seeking to hire suitable candidate for role of Audiovisual Technician in Dubai. The role of an audiovisual technician encompasses responsibilities such as transporting equipment and setting up cameras, lighting & video devices. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in handling, assembling, operating and repairing multimedia equipment. This role requires an individual who possesses skill, creativity and adaptability, enabling them to navigate various situations with meticulous attention to detail while also collaborating effectively and communicating proficiently within a team.

Responsibilities of Audiovisual Technician

• Transporting, setting up and installing media equipment & supporting audiovisual tools, including equipment racks, speakers, monitors and cameras.
• Setting up and performing electrical wiring, programming and basic construction according to layout diagrams & schedules.
• Conducting tests on audio, videos and signals, promptly resolving any encountered issues.
• Managing equipment malfunctions to ensure seamless event execution.
• Safely dismantling equipment, wiring and support tools.
• Maintaining an organized inventory of equipment, wiring and accessories.
• Undertaking cleaning, maintenance and repair tasks for audiovisual equipment.
• Compiling expense reports for management.

Requirements for Role of Audiovisual Technician

• Degree or diploma in electronic technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role
• IT or Engineering background preferred.
• Experience in audio mixer software, light control decks and cabling.

Skills Desired

• Full English proficiency is required.
• Additional spoken languages are a plus.
• In depth working knowledge of camera, LED, Audio and lighting techniques.
• Proficiency in computer usage and adept troubleshooting skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail and flexibility.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Capability to endure prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Good hearing and eyesight.
