Job Description
NMC Healthcare is currently looking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Attender in Sama Tower, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an Entry level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 3000-5000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.
Responsibilities of Attender
- Assist in patient care and other ward related duties as directed by and under supervision of the staff nurse.
- Respond quickly to patient’s request for assistance.
- Assist with patient’s hygiene, elimination, mobility, physical comfort, eating and drinking needs while observing and reporting any specific changes to the staff nurse.
- Assist in the maintenance of cleanliness in all areas including patient’s room within the unit.
- Assist in the maintenance of supply and storage areas.
- Transporting specimens to laboratory.
- Escort patients to and from Radiology Department as directed by nurse on duty.
- Assist nursing staff in preparing/cleaning patient’s room for admission/discharge.
- Assist the nursing staff during the lifting and turning of the patients and transporting them in wheel chairs or movable beds
- Works evenings, nights, week-ends and holidays according to the schedule compiled by the head of department.
- Assist in Patient movement either on wheelchair and stretcher, beds or ambulance transfer within Hospital scope of work.
Requirements for Role of Attender
- High school graduate.

Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Skills : Demonstrate motivation to work in a health care environment.
- Acceptable command of oral and written English required. Knowledge of Arabic.
