Job Description

An Assistant Nurse OPD at Mediclinic will provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company. Responsibilities of Assistant Nurse OPD

  • Deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation.
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with appropriate MCME risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
  • Contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Maintain the on going communication with the staff nurse regarding the health status of patients.
  • Act as patient advocate.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of patient’s privacy and confidentiality of information at all times.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Role Requirements

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Assistant Nurse OPD at Mediclinic:

  • Essential: Nursing Diploma.
  • Essential: At least two year’s in own country.
  • Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial.
