Assistant Manager Quality Assurance Talabat Dubai

Talabat is currently looking for an Assistant Manager Quality Assurance to join the team and focus on enhancing Ultra Fresh quality proposition (Fresh Produce, Fresh Meat & Seafood) in their own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 10000 AED to 20000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Assistant Manager Quality Assurance

• Lead a team of inspectors across countries they operate in.
• Develop standard operating procedures as required.
• Work closely with Category Managers to ensure team is aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Identifies and develops performance indicators and project improvement opportunities.
• Able to apply problem solving tools and methods to coordinate and/or lead investigation teams.
• Use auditing as a proactive tool for improvement compliance and challenge existing practice where appropriate.
• Manage notification, responsiveness, containment, root cause determination, corrective actions, and closure of supplier quality issues.
• Support the complaint handling process to assure timely and accurate feedback.
• Assist in and manage the verbal communications and visual checks of work activity to ensure quality requirements are met.

Elgibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for the role of an Assistant Manager Quality Assurance are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Food Sciences or Agriculture-Biochemistry.
• 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Fresh Processing industry in the capacity of a Quality Assurance Manager.

Skills Desired

• Self directed with strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Strong communication, report writing and grammar skills.
• Occasional foreign and domestic travel as required.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, Email communication, Data Visualization, Power Point).
• Must have a valid driver’s license
