About the Assistant Manager role
This Assistant Manager position suits a driven banking professional who enjoys client relationships and delivering results in a fast-paced Dubai environment.
- To lead successful implementation of Enhancements and Transformation initiatives across OBDX, OBPAY, OBVAM, OBLM platforms, Mind Gate application.
- Identify ways to reduce Cost by improving operational efficiency, and Innovation.
- Work with key stakeholders i.e Technology, Product to ensure seamless implementation of Enhancements
- Review BRD’s and FSD’s and recommend to senior management for sign off.
- Identify critical defects and ensure timely escalation to management.
- Support Project Management for various CIBG Ops Automation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Grow and manage a portfolio of banking clients as a Assistant Manager in Dubai.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable banking products and services.
- Meet sales, acquisition and service targets set by the bank.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and internal policy.
- Build long-term relationships to drive customer retention and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records and report performance to the line manager.
Requirements
- Prior experience in banking, sales or financial services, ideally in the UAE.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good knowledge of retail or business banking products.
- Target-driven mindset with a customer-first approach.
- Bachelor degree preferred; fluency in English, Arabic an advantage.
