About the Role

As an Arabic and Islamic Teacher at Al Rayana Charter School, you will deliver inspiring lessons in Arabic language and Islamic studies to primary school students. Furthermore, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing learning environment that supports students’ academic, social, and personal development. Moreover, this immediate start position requires a passionate educator who can motivate pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching while embedding the school’s Learner and Teacher DNA throughout the curriculum. The role is open to UAE National candidates.

Key Responsibilities for Arabic and Islamic Teacher at Al Rayana Charter School Abu Dhabi

• Deliver engaging Arabic language and Islamic studies lessons that inspire students to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class
• Organise classroom provision and learning resources to encourage a positive learning environment
• Observe and assess children in line with school assessments using Target Tracker
• Work alongside fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements
• Provide feedback to parents and carers on student progress at parent-teacher conferences
• Support the organisation of school events, outings, and activities
• Run a weekly ECA each term and contribute to the wider life of the school

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, or related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience in Arabic and Islamic studies
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• A high level of professionalism and consideration of children’s wellbeing
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
• A clean enhanced DBS check or police clearance
• UAE National candidates preferred
